We return to Mijas with another line-up of fantastic comedians in the form of Dan Jones, LJ DA FUNK, Josephine Lacey and regular host and compere, Nik Coppin!

Dan Jones
Dan Jones won Breakthrough Comedian of the Year in Amused Moose National New Comic awards 2019, and also Rising Star New Act of the Year finalist 2019.
Dan is a Brighton based comedian who brings rooms to life with his deadpan humour and low energy anecdotes.
He started his stand up career in 2018, soon establishing himself as one of London’s fastest rising comedians by reaching the finals of comedy competitions
“ Definitely one to watch ” – Rhod Gilbert “ Pithy, snarky & funny ” – Chortle

LJ DA FUNK
LJ DA FUNK is the brainchild of Laughing Horse New Act of the Year finalist 2013, Zak Splijt.
As LJ, he has since reached two Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year semi-finals and relishes the diminished success.
A self-styled New York gangster, he is loud, brash, and full of energy. LJ tells jokes that are ostensibly idiotic but with wit and wisdom bubbling under the surface, on topics ranging from Enoch Powell and Ugandan homophobia, to his myriad yet always disastrous sexual encounters.
LJ is known for peppering his routine with audience-shout-along catchphrases, especially during the panto season.
“Savvy enough to recognise his own incompetence” – Chortle, on Zak Splijt.

Josephine Lacey
Josephine Lacey first came onto the London comedy circuit in October 2008. Drawing on her Jamaican-Irish heritage and life experiences she delivers her material with an honest humour and a natural raw energy with the guile and wisdom of someone that's been there, done it and bought the t-shirt, delivering her material with an effortless charm and huge smile that leaves audiences loving her and wanting more.
Josephine regularly performs in England and Ireland. Her performances at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010 and 2011 made a huge impact on audiences and promoters alike leaving her comedy voice in great demand.
In 2013 Josephine penned her first one woman show 'Me and My Little Einstein' about living and raising an autistic, non-verbal child which gained much interest and left audiences throughout England and Ireland in stitches. 2021 saw the release of her second solo show 'Autism Mama and Puberty'. Selling out the the fabulous Soho Theatre, this show is a must see!
Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2023 Nominee
"One to watch 2023" - http://Chortle.co.uk/
"Josephine is a comedy bombshell, just light the blue touch-paper and watch the mirth erupt. She has a natural raw energy which is a joy to watch and even better to watch an audiences reaction as she explodes on stage" - BBC
"Josephine's brutal and caustic delivery left people in stitches. This lady' delightfully un-ladylike style is powerful and honest but always funny" - Jeff Leach, TV Presenter

Nik Coppin (MC)
British stand-up comedian Nik Coppin has performed all over the world and developed an international following.
Born and bred in London and now based on the south coast of England in the city of Brighton he has spent over 20 years becoming a global circuit comedian. In that time he has performed all over the UK and in many European countries such as Germany, Spain, Ireland, Hungary, Poland, France, Denmark and Norway. He has also done shows in the USA, Canada and frequents Southeast Asia, regularly touring in Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, The Philippines and Japan.
He has also toured multiple solo shows at the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals, New Zealand and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, all over Australia and the inaugural Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles, all to critical acclaim.
His confident, amiable and energetic style of comedy is quick to build rapport, as he talks about subjects as wide-ranging as human nature, his experiences in The Antipodes, Europe and Asia, his knowledge of wildlife, superheroes, current affairs and his mixed-race upbringing in North West London. His mother is English and his father is from the Caribbean island of Barbados.
As well as becoming one of the most professional acts on the comedy circuit, his versatility has also made him a much sought after compere. He has the ability to adapt to a multitude of audiences and is skilful, observant and affable enough to immediately put them at ease.
