Eddie Roberts & The Lucky Strokes

El cuarteto formado por Eddie Roberts, Shelby Kemp y las hermanas Galbraith se unió por primera vez para tocar en la fiesta del 20º aniversario de Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom en Denver, Colorado, y al día siguiente grabaron un disco completo en los estudios Color Red para solidificar aún más la recién forjada conexión musical. El sonido es una amalgama de aclamados letristas de country como Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings y George Jones, mezclados con la estética rítmicamente impulsada de James Brown y complementados con un honesto rock ‘n’ roll, una combinación destinada a labrarse su propia suerte y conquistar la escena.

The quartet of Eddie Roberts, Shelby Kemp and the Galbraith sisters came together for the first time to play at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom's 20th anniversary party in Denver, Colorado, and the next day they recorded a full album at Color Red Studios for further solidify the newly forged musical connection. The sound is an amalgamation of acclaimed country lyricists such as Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and George Jones, mixed with the rhythmically driven aesthetic of James Brown and complemented by honest rock 'n' roll, a combination destined to make its own luck and conquer the scene.
