ROTAS & RAÍZES Registo RNAAT n.º 134/2013 Caminhada na Serra do Açor: 5 de Março Percurso de montanha/natureza Caminhada "Rota das Éguas" Com início na belíssima aldeia de Foz d’Égua, este percurso faz a conexão entre esta aldeia e Chãs d’Égua, circundando o bonito vale da Serra do Açor onde estas duas aldeias se situam (e daí o nome “Rota das Éguas”) e que é também o vale ao longo do qual corre a Ribeira de Chãs d’Égua que desagua na Ribeira do Piódão precisamente na Foz d’Égua. Subindo em direção a Chãs d’Égua por um dos lados do vale, o percurso passa pelas aldeias de Pés Escaldados e Moinhos, num trilho ao longo de bosques e de antigos socalcos de cultivo. Na segunda parte do percurso, descendo pelo outro lado do vale em direção a Foz d’Égua, o trilho passa pelas aldeias de Eira da Bocha e Covita. Percorrer estes trilhos que unem as aldeias e que proporcionam belas paisagens, é também uma espécie de viajem no tempo. Junte-se a nós e venha conhecer aldeias perdidas no tempo num dos vales mais bonitos da Serra do Açor. Se pretender informações sobre alojamento, envie-nos um email que enviaremos algumas sugestões. =========================================================== ROTAS & RAÍZES Registo RNAAT n.º 134/2013 Hike in Serra do Açor: 5th March Mountain/nature route "Éguas Route" Starting in the beautiful village of Foz d'Égua, this route connects this village to Chãs d'Égua, circling the beautiful Serra do Açor valley where these two villages are located (hence the name “Éguas Route”) and which is also the valley along which the Ribeira de Chãs d'Égua runs, which flows into the Ribeira do Piódão precisely at Foz d'Égua (means Égua mouth). Going up towards Chãs d’Égua along one side of the valley, the route passes through the villages of Pés Escaldados and Moinhos, on a trail along woods and old terraced fields. In the second part of the route, going down on the other side of the valley towards Foz d’Égua, the trail passes through the villages of Eira da Bocha and Covita. Traveling along these trails that link these villages and offering beautiful landscapes is also a kind of travelling back in time. Join us and discover villages lost in time in one of the most beautiful valleys of Serra do Açor.
