Born and raised in Trenchtown and Arnett Gardens in Kingston, Jamaica, Norris Man drew inspiration from Bob Marley indeed. He began his recording career in the mid 90’s. He rose to fame with the single “Persistence,” produced by Colin “Iley Dread” Levy in 1997. In 1999, he released his debut album “Persistence,” which features the eponymous hit single. Up until now, this is by far his most notable act, as the album has recently reached 1 million streams on Spotify. His latest album to this date, “Deep Conversations,” produced by Train Line Records was released in 2022.
