Hello there! Looking back to the previous editions, many things have changed. New faces have happily joined the team, a variety of artists who’ve come to believe in this project are now sharing their art with all of us, and we - as DJs and organizers - have since then come across a long journey of discovery, growth and development, which allows us, today, to idealize and produce an event of this nature. Despite all these changes, we have a very concrete vision of what we believe ON ROOTS is destined to be, of what we consider to be part of its quintessence and nature. Elements without such we would fail to accomplish what we consider to be the greatest value of this project: intimacy. This means that we will keep striving to create an intimate space that brings together people from different backgrounds, with different visions and perspectives, allowing them to interact and connect in an open, free and inclusive environment. YOUR NEEDS, OUR PRIORITY Food: Italian homemade food, cooked by the one and only Manola - a special human being, originally from Scansano, an Italian village located in the region of Toscana - that never misses the most important ingredient of all: love. Drinks: Local craft beer RIMA, from São João da Ribeira, Rio Maior, that makes beer exclusively out of natural ingredients, and aims to design, create and produce beer with unique and distinctive flavors and aromas. We will also have cocktails with a special touch of local ingredients, some of them picked from the orchard of Quinta dos Carvalhais, industrial beer, spirits, and water.
