Explorando várias facetas da técnica de colagem, o workshop tem por base o recurso a diversos materiais (incluindo alguns esboços e materiais produzidos pelo próprio artista), com vista a abordar a dualidade entre a ideia original e o resultado final inerente ao processo criativo, um tema que AkaCorleone tem vindo a explorar no âmbito da sua prática artística. Cada participante terá a possibilidade de desenvolver uma peça, individualmente ou em grupo, com a supervisão e aconselhamento do artista.

Exploring various aspects of the collage technique, the workshop is based on the recourse to various materials (including some sketches and materials created by the artist himself), with the purpose of addressing the duality between the original idea and the final result inherent to the creative process, a theme which AkaCorleone has been exploring in the scope of his artistic practice. Each participant will be able to create a piece, individually or collectively, under the supervision and guidance of the artist.

We're opening the Underdogs Artist Residency Programme with visual artist AkaCorleone. To mark the occasion we'll be launching 2 limited-edition Risograph prints by the artist, who will also be holding a workshop on collage techniques.
