This debate is part of the exhibition "Racism and Citizenship", currently at the Monument to the Discoveries, which focuses on the relationship between racism and citizenship over six centuries, from 1497 to this day.
The aim is to encourage the public to question past and present relations between peoples, combining emigration with immigration, exclusion and integration, lack of rights and access to citizenship.
Professor Jorge Vala, one of LiSP's scholars, is among the invited speakers.
