Mil e Uma Noites é um projeto cívico e artístico de longa duração que, através do teatro radiofónico, resgata do esquecimento a obra de mulheres portuguesas do século XX. ∕ Em Alcanena, mulheres de várias gerações foram convidadas a revelar a sua atividade de escrita e a partilhar as histórias e contextos de vida em que a desenvolveram. Depois de uma apresentação pública em setembro, a peça de teatro radiofónico criada a partir destas vozes, regressa à Biblioteca Municipal de Alcanena na forma de uma instalação sonora. No dia 6 de Outubro, haverá uma conversa com algumas destas autoras e a equipa artística que desenvolveu o projeto e, ao longo do festival, será possível mergulhar nestes universos tão singulares quanto pouco conhecidos.
Mil e Uma Noites is a long-term civic and artistic project that rescues the work of 20th century Portuguese women from oblivion through radio dramas. ∕ In Alcanena, women from various generations were invited to reveal their writing activity, and share the stories and life contexts in which they developed it. After a public presentation in September, the radio theatre piece created from these voices returns to the Alcanena Municipal Library as a sound installation. On 6 October there will be a conversation with some of these authors and the artistic team that developed the project and, throughout the festival, it will be possible to immerse yourself in these unique and little-known universes.
