PENICHE
The city of Peniche and the sea are inseparable! As one of the largest traditional fishing ports in Portugal, built on a rocky peninsula, it is also a place for amazing long beaches! The city is a place for recreational activities and sports such as surfing, windsurfing, bodyboarding and kite surfing! Waves are forming fast and powerful tubes, considered among the best in Europe by surfers and bodyboarders from across the world. It was elected one of “Portugal’s 7 Wonders”!
